At Courage to Learn, we believe meaningful change in education starts with courage, not perfection. Our journey began with a shared belief: that educators and professionals deserve support that is both strategic and human. As experienced learning designers, coaches, and educators, we’ve seen how the right guidance can transform not just a course or a team but a career. This is the story of how we came together, what we value, and why we do this work.

what drives us

Courage to Learn was born from real conversations between three educators who had each found the courage to walk through transformation—personally and professionally. From navigating the intense journey of earning a doctorate to leading a district-wide rollout of new educational technology and digital learning systems, we bring decades of experience in teaching, instructional design, coaching, and faculty development. We’ve lived through burnout, shifting expectations, and the pressure to keep up with rapid change in education. That’s why we created this space—to offer guidance that’s human, strategic, and grounded in what actually works. We know what it takes to grow through change, and we’re here to help others do the same.

what makes us different

We’re not just consultants—we’re educators, researchers, trainers, and designers who have been in the work ourselves. We’ve coached faculty, led district-wide tech initiatives, published on inclusive design, and built programs from the ground up. Our approach blends strategy with empathy, and we tailor every solution to the real-world context of your classroom, campus, or organization. We don’t offer one-size-fits-all advice—we walk alongside you with tools, insight, and encouragement that stick.
